HOW TO ENTER:

1. Follow all Walenisi Fest social media platforms (Walenisi fest on Facebook, Walenisi_fest on Instagram, Walenisi_fest on TikTok, Walenisi TV on You tube and Walenisi_fest on X (Twitter)

2. Record an audio or video for at least 60 seconds rapping to the official Walenisi Stars Rap Challenge beat

3. Upload either Audio or Video to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter between May 01 and May 15 with the hashtag #WalenisiStarsRapChallenge

4. Tag Walenisi Fest in your post (@Walenisi fest on Facebook, @Walenisi_fest on @Instagram, @Walenisi_fest on TikTok, @Walenisi Fest on Youtube, and @Walenisi_fest on X (Twitter). Also make sure to send the link to your rap and names to our Whatsapp +254759660000.

5. Mobilize your followers to support you by liking, commenting, sharing, and of course, VOTING for your audio/video submission

– Competition begins: Launch of the Beat – April 26, 2025

– Submission of the recordings within the stipulated timeline – Between May 01 and May 15

– Voting – First Leg of Voting: May 16 – June 01

– Beat Launch for the Final Leg

– Final Leg Voting

– Winners announced

– Awarding of the winners

COMPETITION RULES:

1. Open to all residents of Kenya aged 18 and above
2. All participants must follow Walenisi on (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter)
3. Your rap MUST be on the provided Walenisi Stars beat
4. The rap should be at least 60 seconds
5. No extremely explicit content, hate speech, discriminatory language, political campaign messaging or endorsements
6. All entries must include the hashtag #WalenisiStarsRapChallenge and tag Walenisi Fest on the respective social media platforms
7. Submissions after the deadline will not be considered
8. Each participant must provide valid contact information and the social media link to the submission
9. By registering, participants agree to abide by all contest rules
10. All content must comply with the terms of service of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and X (Twitter)

VOTING PROCESS:

• All artist names will be uploaded to our dedicated voting platform
• The voting form will be available on all Walenisi Fest social media platforms as well as the website
• People will then visit the platforms to cast their votes
• Each person gets to vote ONCE during the voting period
• Voting progress and results will be displayed in real-time on the platform
• Voting will be done in stages
